A structured railway-learning pathway
PAK-C01 is the common entry-level railway programme for learners who need a structured understanding of how the railway system works before entering a technical, maintenance, manufacturing, operations, logistics or management specialization.
The certificate is deliberately broad rather than trade-specific. It introduces the railway as an integrated system: infrastructure supports vehicle movement; rolling stock carries passengers or freight; traction supplies motive power; signalling and control protect and regulate train movements; operations coordinate services; maintenance preserves technical condition; and safety, quality, interoperability and digital information bind the system together.
The programme is suitable as a foundation course for new railway-industry entrants, support staff, trainees, non-railway graduates joining the sector, commercial/administrative personnel requiring technical awareness, and learners preparing for later PAK certificates or diploma programmes.
Academic orientation

PAK separates academic learning from statutory or employer authorization. Completion of academic study does not by itself confer authority to perform licensed, certified or safety-critical railway duties.
